Drawing Review & Machining Plan


We review your machining drawing and develop a sequenced machining plan to meet your dimensional requirements and tolerances.

Casting Inspection

Raw castings are inspected before machining begins — confirming dimensions are within allowance and the casting is free of defects that would affect machining quality.

Machining

Turning, milling, and secondary operations are performed to drawing specification. In-process checks are completed at key stages.

Final Inspection & Delivery

Finished or semi-finished parts are inspected against drawing requirements and prepared for shipment with applicable quality documentation.

Yes. Excal can deliver fully machined castings ready for your assembly line — or semi-finished castings if you prefer to perform final operations in-house.

We machine the same alloys we cast — primarily brass and bronze, along with select stainless steel grades.
